You are right. If pressures are right and no codes it is probably a solenoid or a bad ground. I would clean and spray all wiring going to the tranny and find out where all the grounds are in the car. Should be at least 10. I have 14 in my Caravan. Move the wire and it works, wait a while and it won't. They are a pain. My tranny ate itself one night and liked to threw me through the windshield. No codes. I figure the OD went out and chewed up everything.
