So far we like our, but its only a year old with 190 hours. We bought it because we figured it was the best on the market. (we could care less that its a JD) We replaced our old one(another JD, 2240) with 11,000 hours with it and kind hope this one make it that long. For the same horsepower as our old one its kinda sad that they had to make it so much bigger and bulkier than than the old one. Like i said, we looked at all colors and this one seemed the best for us.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
