we did that only on dirt and a friend of mine could pull most. One day he decided to pick at me for not ever "hooking up" eventually I did and him with the slight down hill advantage I pulled him to my surprise I then put on brakes and he decided to jerk and pull me after we had stopped.He couldn't budge me. I then waited for him to stop and then with the chain still tight I pulled him again with all his tires locked down. I never had anyone else pick at me enough for me to try again. many times I would pull stuck trucks out or go mud riding and never got stuck.
