Well Im 18 and dad farmed when i was little but has since quit, but when i was little he had a 36 John Deere D and a 51 John Deere B, but my brothers and I have really added to the collection, In the past ten years we have bought and restored a John Deere 70,620,830,R,A,unstyled A,Super M-TA, and have a 4010 and 4020 waiting in line to restore, and recently I have become interested in all the old machinery i restored a John Deere 44, 55 abh, F-670-H plows and a 290 cornplanter and leave wednesday to pick up my 227 cornpicker, i figure you cant really tell the story of the old tractors without their equipment, but im glad to see other young guys who have the passion for the old tractors like my family does, but keep up the collecting everyone, hope you all have a safe and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
