Merry Christmas to all! Well, with family gone and a snow storm on the way, the wife and I thought it would be a good time to push the Super C in the shop, (been sitting for a while) and go out to the pile of half tracks, that's been waiting by the shed. When I looked at these to buy, I seen the mounts, and I knew right away they where for a Farmall C. I had to move the wheel out to center with the idler wheel. I loosed up the bolts, and it moved without a problem! Well,I haven't done the right side yet. Going good so far....I took the axle mounts off and bolted it on, and used the gantry crane I built last yr to raise up the idler pipe and wheel. I have a "H" drawbar on this tractor and I think I will still be able to use this. We have in floor heat in the shop, with a outside boiler. I have a 430 JD cat out in the woods right now as we are logging firewood. I use the cat to skid the logs to the road, and maybe this half track will skid on the road better. Well, I know it would be faster!! Any hints on installing? I'll try to post some pics. Thanks Bob

From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
