We spent about a week at Loch Lomond RV park back in 2001 because of a refrigerator problem in our motor home. Roymac (I think) took excellent care of the problem for very reasonable cost. The good folks at Loch Lomand let us use their freezer and refrigerators to keep our food in.
Since we were there, we took several day trips, including to PEI, Peggy's Cove and others. Discovered That Damn Dutchman's Gouda cheese store in Upper Economy and a wonderful seafood pizza in Amherst.
Never did see the strait at high or low tide, though.
