If you do not have exposed metal, or at least not a lot, use a citrus based dish detergent. I use Lemon Joy for auto, truck, and motorcycle use. The reason for using this, is that it is able to cut oil and grease a lot better, leaving no film like a lot of the cleaners like "Gunk", and the citrus cuts silicone based products, like "Armorall". I use it when the vehicle first comes in, use it in my water I wet sand with (helps keep the sandpaper from clogging as bad), and then before it is taped and painted. Also, it is not hard on your hands, and if doing a lot of metal repair, and painting, believe it or not, your hands are not that tough... The mechanical work, or changing out of sheet metal will cause them to be rougher, so you don't need the "softness" :-) I also use a product from the local "Dollar Store" called Mean Green. It works real good on the grease and oil if the soap doesn't cut it at first. The Mean Green also cleans rubber parts, and leaves them with a finish like they were when new, not all shiney. What ever method, good luck, and enjoy the project.

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
