While I agree with most of the comments on this subject, I took that exact same flight from Amsterdam to Detroit coming home from Germany in 1994. Amsterdam was the first airport where I saw guards armed with submachine guns. Made me feel good thaqt they had that kind of security, but I wondered why they needed it. 15 years later I know why.
The sooner we Americans realize we are facing an enemy that absolutely hates us and is not rational, the better we'll be able to deal with this stuff. Interesting the guy who first subdued the terrorist was a Belgian on his vacation. Thank our God that no one was killed. Paul

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
