There is a few Deutz tractors in my area. Had a dealer that sold a very small number of tractors in the early 80"s. I think a 7120 model seems to be the most prevalent here. I believe that the fact that they were German-made, and kind of ugly, was the major downfall for them in this area. I also think parts for them were kind of high priced as well. The name has evolved over the years, I suppose with mergers, but I know very little on the topic. I think Deutz-Fahr is the name now, and, at one time, it was KHD, or Klockner-Humboldt-Deutz. Again, I am unsure of the exact lineage or timeline of the changes.
