Need to undo the damage I did on a ranting post sometime back
Some time ago I made some posts on here that I must say I am mortally ashamed to admit to. Those posts were very inflammatory to a very fine young man by the initial B. This young man had been dating my daughter and things had become pretty serious. Unfortunately the things they wanted from life could not quite line up. This I believe was hard on both of them. And I BEING A TRUE A$$ and a very hot-headed parent reacted to a post made by B. (I don’t want to make this worse for him) and accused him of using, beating down, and treating my daughter badly. What I want to say here and now to anyone who remembers the rantings of “ angry father of ah….”
This young man B. treated my daughter like gold. He is the kindest, most caring young man I have met in a long time. He is one of the hardest working I’ve seen also, and he deserved none of what he got from me!!
Someone else in those posts was speaking only for himself and I do not believe for a minute that B shared any of his opinions.
Please no one reply to this. It was hard enough to write and I sure don’t want any more embarrassment brought upon B. on my behalf.
Forgive me! B. You did not deserve this. Anyone else should feel lucky to have a young man like you date their daughter. I still wish it could have worked out. You would have been a fine son-in-law. Good luck to you!! May the New Year Bring You Peace!!

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
