I read the paper every day. I just read it online now for FREE instead of paying almost $200 bucks a year to have it deliverd.
I figure if Iam paying for internet service and I can read the paper online for free why should I be paying for the additional subscription?
The former manager of our local paper will tell you that it used to be a pretty profitable outfit until the corporate big boys said that everything had to be posted online free of charge starting in 2006. Once word got out that it was free he said that home delivery cancellations started rolling in daily.
