I'm GUESSING it has a shuttle/reverser transmission which has has NOTHING to do with the front pump the other guys are so worried about.
BTW, the wire from the starter solenoid to the little solenoid on the front pump is an electric de-stroker that keeps the front pump "out of stroke" (not pumping hydraulic oil) while the stater is engaged to help the engine crank faster for better starting.
If you are going to troubleshoot this thing you need the factor manual with all the troubleshooting instructions and color-coded oil flow charts.
The darned factory manuals are $$$$, but there's NO substitute for the information they contain.
