K1 is a low sulphur kerosene.It was hard to find until the import kerosene heaters were sold here .Range oil was common but it stunk if used in lamps and lanterns.I keep 2 gallons of K1 on hand for my lamps.I can feed it to my furnace if My tank runs out.I have unloaded at lot of 4 ft wood by the light of a kerosene lantern.My JD tractor can run on kerosene.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
