Wow, what a hornet's nest the use of the term 'classic' has stirred up. OK, so in the US, the term classic refers to a tractor built before 1960. But let's not forget that the new 'Classic Tractor' magazine is written and published by a UK company and publisher mainly for the interest of European readers, enthusiasts, and farmers. In Europe the term usually refers to a tractor built after 1960. However, I am also keen to please our North American readers. There is massive interest in 'younger' machinery here in Europe, from enthusiasts and farmers who are still using the kit. Judge our magazine on the strength of its contents and not on it's title. If you like big 4WD tractors (Big Buds, etc), 4020's, Ford 5000's, IH 614's, etc, why not take a look. Tractor & Machinery, our associated magazine, sells well over 38,000 issues per month, so we must be doing something right!! Keep sending and posting your thoughts. Rory Day - Editor
