Years ago I used to get REAL cold in 30 degree weather while duck and deer hunting. Dumb, poor kid, wearing two pair of cotton socks with uninsulated leather boots, two pairs of blue jeans, cotton T shirt, couple cotton sweatshirts, a jacket, cotton gloves. Work up a sweat getting set up and sit and FREEZE. A lot smarter now, but these new synthetic socks, boot insulation, undergarments, and coats make hunting a lot more enjoyable. Tolerate colder weather for a lot longer now.
