worst knife I ever bought was a cheap Smith & Wesson pocket knife. Broke apart, then fell apart under very light use (cutting bale twine). Best one I ever bought was recently, a Stihl single blade 3 1/2" folding knife. Bright orange handle so you can find it anywhere but sharpest blade I ever saw. Skinned & gutted 1000 lb. bull and it glided thru that tough hide. Didnt mean to do the whole bull with it, just thought I'd start out (brand new-hadn't used it) & see what it'd do! Better by far than any other knife & I've cut up 100's of deer & cow. $10 at Stihl dealers. Solingen (German) blade. Also have 2 1/2" Stihl folder that I cannot keep sharp but much tougher than that worthless S & W.
