Should work as well as any other in its class. Power is not always the issue- traction is. My tiler runs a CIH 4wd, 3-400 hp, with a Challenger in front, and adds a Cat when necessary. All depends how deep he needs to run and how wet it is. You don"t want to spin the wheels, hyd cannot react fast enough to maintain plow level when the tractor goes down- then the tile kinks. My renter has a CIH on tracks, just tried his plow a bit, no real test, but this year will plow in a whole lot, so we"ll find out if another tractor is necessary. Many times a single tractor works well. I"ve drawn up plans to build a plow behind a 4450MFWD, expect it to work in shallow runs under 4 feet, no laser control.
