Slow race - When the "GO" is said, all clutches must be full out, no brakes set and the operator can idle her down as slow as she'll go. Last one to cross the finish line wins. JD's love this one. Barrel race - Tractor must push a plastic barrel like a soccer ball, through a figgure 8 course. Best time wins. Plow pulling - Straightest furrow wins. Start your engines, race - Tractors at 100' away, operators must run to their tractor and get it started. First one wins. Separate events for hand crank, gas, diesel and pony start. Tractor relay - Must drive down the field, attach a 3-pt implement and return. Options could include two man/tractor teams to go, fetch, deliver, swap to the other tractor and go to the finish line. For tractors without 3 pt., you could use a chain to drag a log. Parking paradox - Driver must pull their tractor up to a low post but not touch it. Closest one wins. (The problem is that the post is hidden by the front of the tractor and only those who really know their machine will do well.)

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
