The misconceptions on this forum are broad and deep. You really have to wonder if schools are teaching physics anymore. This should be pretty basic stuff for anyone with a high school diploma. There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
