I have reason to believe the spirit of a young lady I was engaged to briefly before I met my wife of 44 years, and who died fairly young without ever marrying, is following me around.
Also, my nephew once owned a farmhouse where "strange" things happened. Nothing menacing, it was just that unusual things happened. He'd come home from work and find a closet door standing open that he knew had been closed and latched when he left in the morning. He'd work in the yard for an hour or two in the evening, then come in the house and find a chair moved in the living room. Or he'd leave a coffee cup on one end of the counter in the kitchen when he went to bed, then when he got up the next morning the cup would be on the other end of the counter.
I could tell more stories, but that should suffice for now.
