I find this last comment quite offensive. Anyone who has spent any time online or has talked to foreign nationals anywhere in the world will realize that any citizen in any nation knows more english the average american knows of any other language at all. While in Indoenesia several years ago to visit relatives, the driver of the Bachak (a sort of bicycle rickshaw) casually mentioned to us (and this was a very old man with missing teeth, certainly did not seem like a person of great means) "Ah see on CNN..Clintohn having money trouble" news of a budget fight with congress had been in the news lately. If you visit Asian web sites you will see that almost all text is written with english characters, traditional character scripts are mostly graphics. There are character based text editors, but for the most part people around the world are learning english way faster than we deserve. Kim Hartshorn
