On the internet I find a tank type coolant heater, 1500 watts and for coolant capacities over 30 qts for $50.00.
I call my John Deere dealer and they are asking $140.00 for their tank type heater.
Which should I go with? Is the John Deere heater really that much superior? Is there a well regarded, popular heater for considerably less money than the John Deere heater?
The magnetic block heater is appealing in that I think it would make the tractor look less "cluttered" but I believe the tank type is what most prefer and do the job faster and more thoroughly.
