As some of you may recall, October 29, 2009 was a big day for me!! To my surprise, my boyfriend had everything planned out that evening to ask me to marry him! You guys were the first to know, even before me! I did say yes! We told our immediate family on Saturday, October 31, 2009. It was not much of a surprise, as many expected it after three-and-a-half years of dating. It also did not help that someone leaked some confidential info to his Mom before we could break the news. Oh well, we still had fun the night our parents got together. We are getting married June 11, 2011. It will be here before we know it!! So, here I am tonight, asking your advice. He is a farmer and loves IH tractors. I am a country girl, and my family is very active in the Oliver club and the WHO tractor ride. I was wondering if anyone knew any farm-related marriage vows that would make our day a little more unique. Something else unique may include something about being a farmer’s wife, something with tractors, etc. A farm-related wedding prayer would also be neat. Following the wedding, we are going to ride away on tractors. His IH 806 will lead, and alternate Oliver and IH for the rest of the wedding party. The IH is for him, and the Oliver tractors are representing the Glade family. I know he has gotten very valuable advice and information from those of you on this site in the past, and we would value your input now.
