Oh yeah, here's one more. A year or so ago, and I kid you not...scientists, I think were NASA scientists to boot, put transponders in rubber ducks, and I'm not kidding, put them in rubber ducks, and then drilled holes in the polar caps and dropped those rubber duckies into those holes, in an effort to capture GPS data about the travel of those ice caps and direction of water flow and travel. And they tracked those rubber duckies for a few days, and then one by one, they quit reporting their locations through GPS. Those scientist guys went and started checking on them to see why they had dropped out, and much to their surprised, the ice had expanded, enclosed, and smashed those poor defensless rubber duckies and the their transponders. Imagine that.
Don't get me going, cause I'll have to fire up that little Allis Chalmers B too, and its only a four banger gasser that I'll have to pull start with either a Deere or the Massey because I know its 6 volt battery is dead from setting in the corner of that barn, but I'll do it just the same, all for science, and I'll be smoking a cigarette as I do it, because thats not illegal yet either.
