if you don't have a control box between the pressure switch and the pump you have a 2 wire pump . if this is the case unhook the two pump wires and check resistance between the two wires . should be some resistance depending on HP . its harder to check motor windings with a analog meter ( needle type . best is a digital type with a low scale . 0- 200 ohm or so . if you have no reading between the 2 pump wires then you have a open between the meter and through internal motor windings . i am betting it is the wires between the switch and the motor . if you have a control box then you have 3 wire motor and the 3 leads are common ,start and run. on a 3 wire motor there should be resistance between any 2 of the wires.
