Couple days ago, I saw a field that was freshly dug up, even though frozen, crusty. Think they were injecting liquid pig manure from the adjacent farrowing facility. Must have been one heck of a ride!
Come spring, I'll be disking and moldboard plowing a sod field to plant to oats/alfalfa. Will be using a MF 180 with a semi-mounted 4-16" plow. There is some lure in grabbing my son's 2-16" trailer plow and pulling it with his '49 JD B. Can probably do a smoother job with that old relic!
