I'll bet a lot of those "buyers" are actully "sellers" trying to take advantage of a down market. Happens all the time. I know several guys that if they are buying it, they tell you how "bad" things are. But if they are selling the same exact piece, they tell you how things are really turning around and they have a line of buyers if you don't buy it. It's the same lying game that has gone on since we stopped bartering and began using money.
