Here's the clue: if it is on an infomercial, it is either junk, way over priced, or a lot of both. The infomercials also scam you on things called "Processing & Shipping charges". If you notice on most commercials, it does not state what these charges are. In many cases, those charges pay for all of the item and cost, the "$19.95" is mostly profit. They almost always start with "one" and then "double" or "triple" the offer. That means that it is worth about 1/10 of what they are charging. Does the word S C A M mean anything? I was scanning channels and one of the well known TV shopping channels was pushing the Amish Heaters. They had a guy on there helping sell that claimed he visited the "Amish Shops" where these are all "hand made". he said, "They all keep a red rag in their back pockets because they hand polish each unit." Who would believe this BS? It is nothing more than real wood, mass produced, with a cheap 1,500 watt ceramic heater and the fake flames. They are making a killing off of these. It finished my negative opinion of these TV shopping crooks. If you listen for a while, EVERY darned thing they show is their "favorite", they "love, love, love it" (must be some crazy drama that women like to hear?) and any color that you happen to pick and call in is their "absolute favorite". It is shamful that the greatest nation on Earth has so many stupid and misinformed buyers. The fleecing of America continues in the name of keeping companies in business.

After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
