Your post made me stop and think a bit. It would be nice to have the "big" machine but as others said...... overkill.
As a followup on the scenario ..I was working Saturday evening and a friend whose a local contractor stopped by ..... He's the fellow that let me use his tractor last summer. He said he was working a "deal" with a widow. He would pave her driveway for the tractors her husband left behind. An original 8N and two others. He stated he was keeping the machines ... musta seen the excited look on my face .... but that I could use them. I cut his acreage and then cut my own as well.
I dislike borrowing things but this may evolve into a workable deal.
