i remember the old tow trucks and police cars with 1 lite on top, but that was when A there wasnt so many cars on the road, and B, most of the drivers had some common sence, today 89% of todays drivers are idiots, if you just watch them a few minutes, they'll prove it to you, they have virtually no real driver training, they think the world should look out for them, so there in there with minimal driving skill, plus using the cell phone, texting, cranking on the stereo, talking to everybody else in the car ect, the massive banks of lites on emergency equipment are a attempt to get your attention back to where it was supposed to be all the time, on the road, and what is happening around you, if the lites blinded you, guess what they did the job you saw them and the tow truck, now where was the operator of the truck?
