Amish try to stay away from state government agencies- this includes court system. Use of "Amish" name in advertising is low risk for liar advertising scam as Amish don"t want to go to court and sue. Now think about the Church of Scientology and possible use of their name for this scheme- The local station that broadcast the infoscammercial would be served about 2 days after airing it and station manager would have a personal suit filed against him or her for a million dollars. A print ad would get same treatment- printer operator and advertising manager would get personal suit as well as company that prints bad press against Scientology or uses their name without permission. LA Times is very discrete about criticism of Church of Scientology- prior plea deal has a resume suit for $$$ if they mess up again clause. Be intersting if add was using Iranian Mullahs as endorsers and had picture reputed to be of Allah in add - Bookies would have short odds of advertisers surviving more than a month. RN
