Peter, apply some heat to the sleeves-torch(cherry red). You can make you own puller out of a good piece of 2" oak. take a hole saw and make plug in the wood that will fit inside the sleeve. prepare 2 short steel bars, one about 5" long to go under the wood, the other long enough to reach across the top of the sleeve clearing the top rim of the sleeve. Use a good 5/8 or 3/4 bolt long enough to clear all the atttachments. You could also make the plug out of metal. Email me with any questions. A hollow ram cylinder on a port-a-power could help a lot, too.
