18 miles to the closest lowes store. Menards is 20. Might as well travel the extra 4 miles past the hardware store to get what I need and not get hit on price.
When I go to town I buy lots of extras for projects to have on hand for when its 10 below on xmas morning and no one is open. I usually get most projects done with one trip to town and 3 trips to the spare parts bin.
