Love it when a plan comes together and I can be cheap
While back, I was asking advice on lighting a couple stalls outside town and got some good suggestions. One was a portable power/jumper pack. Got to looking and pricing and found that HF had the exact one that I was looking at here for about 1/3 the price and turned out to be on sale when I ordered it. Only problem was the 120 volt outlets (we have 230) but I have an inverter to use on the cigarette lighter plug. Was in the commissary today and someone had ordered several cases of CFL 60 watt equivelant bulbs (only a handful of on post living quarters still have 120v outlets) that they had marked down for quick sale. 8 for $2 and I bought 6 cards (48 for 12 bucks). That makes less than 100 bucks to light up both places and plenty more possibilities. I can afford the couple minutes to let them get bright, I'm still fairly young.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
