A couple of years ago there was an auction on Ebay for a decent looking, running JD B. It didn"t sell the first time, seller lowered the reserve and ran the auction again. Still didn"t get his reserve and the price wasn"t out of line. A couple of weeks later he started auctioning the parts because he hadn"t been able to sell the complete, running tractor.
Hate to see it, but that"s the way it is. Only consolation is that when one is parted out several others are returned to running condition.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
