Tim, I have and old mower that the power unit was made by Worthington. It has 5 reel type mowers mounted on it and they lift hydraulically. It has a mowing swath of 11 feet. It also has a Ford Industrial engine in it. It's about the same as an engine in the 9N and 2N Fords.Mine runs good. I believe somewhere in the early 50's to mid 50's. Mine has dual wheels with 900-20 inch tires and single wheels in the back for steering. It's fun to mow with. It has a 4 speed forward transmission and will actually go 35 mph in 4th gear. It will fold up to 8 feet to travel on the road if you need. I might be wrong but I believe Jacobsen Co. bought this company. I can still get parts for this machine and the mowers also. If you need any help with parts or anything you can E-Mail me.

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
