The car I traded for not long ago. 1990 Toyota Corolla SR5 has a problem with the driver side window crank. The shaft of the crank is some sort of steel or something like it and the outer part is what looks like cast aluminum and the aluminum part is cracked so the inner shaft spins free and the cast part does no turn. I drilled a small hole all the way threw both parts and then drove a pin into them so will this work or do I need to find a donor door for the right/good parts. I already checked to see if the part could be had new and I have come up with a not find on it. Thanks
