my dad had 4 2cyd JD tractors I remember my brother picking corn with the JD A with a mounted corn picker . It was real muddy and the wagon behind the picker was full. SO he unhitched and told me to pull out the wagon with the M.F.135. No way! I almost got stuck, he said unhitch and get out of there, proceeded to back up to the full wagon hitched up to the wagon with the A and that heavy picker on it and popped it right out to high ground. It was not only an amazing sound but also an amazing tractor ! That was about 40 years ago and my brother still has that tractor , Its still popping away!!

I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
