Kinda off-topic, but related to the thread of old tv shows in general....we only got one or two channels then too, Bonanaza of course on one of them...Also watched the show "Adam-12" alot, about the two cops. For some reason, after "Adam" dissappeared off of Gunsmoke, my 4-year-old mind thought that he'd become a cop, thus the name "ADAM" in "Adam-12"....
In another example of how a young mind doesnt quite get everything, whenever the cops on the Adam-12 show talked on the radio, they'd sign off with "One-Adam-12,-Roger" Well, in my mind I heard that as being "what happened to old Roger"....there was an early episode where another cop on the show had died in a fire, and the cops name was Roger....so...whenever they said "One-Adam 12, Roger", I'd answer to the tv- "He died in a fire"! Oh, to be young again! Nowadays it's just bad hearing I can blame that kinda stuff on...
