BFO, I agree with you. I've got a JD4960 (2WD) that I put new duals on last spring. Went with Michelin radials and what a difference compared to the factory bias ply. My tires weren't filled, but I dropped off 1000 lb of weights and got better traction. The tires were about 50% more than bias ply but the increased fuel efficiency (+/- 5%)and the better traction will more than pay the difference over the 10-12 years the tires should last. Michelin gives an 8 year warranty and the tires have 1/2" more lug depth than any of the other brands.
