The engines in them old Case tractors were built to last. We had a 700. Same thing as 400 but differant skin. Put about 10,000 hours on it before overhaul. Had some trouble with the hydraulics when it was new. After we got that worked out, no other problems. Nephew has it now with 16,000 hours and no other problems yet.
