If the oil is going to go through the combustion chamber it has to be a low ash product.
This why mixing filtered crankcase lube oil in a diesel causes problems.
Mixing crankcase lube in gasoline engine's fuel also lowers the octane rating.
We all have seen the sooty clogged mess in combustion chambers & exhaust ports of a worn oil burning engine
The additive packages for crankcase lube are different than 2-stroke & intended to burn cleaner.
