Dave M sounds good. :) I found out this month that my blower works well in slush, many do not. Here in Minnesota we are usually quite cold, but the ice & snow piled up so deep this winter, when it started to melt I bladed it to the side & blew the windrow away. Most important for a snow blower is live pto, I would not want to run one without live pto. I'm not sure if your tractor has this or not? Otherwise you should be able to handle a 6' blower fine. You will end up running at about 2000 rpm anyhow - so you'll have full power, 35 hp should handle 6 feet. My 7' 2-stage single auger blower has a sticker on it 'rated for 40-60 hp tractors.' Oh, so are you looking at single stage, 2-stage, 1 or 2 cross augers? I'm not sure the snow will clear the fence, might end up piling most of it against the fence. Part of this will depend on your snowblower & it's spout controls. Depends a lot on which way the wind blows, you CANNOT buck the wind. If you need to blow into a prevailing wind, you need to set it low & close. Also wet snow & dry snow don't go as far as 'average' snow. Rocks go the farthest, so you need to plan out directions that miss windows & buildings - you said you were crowded? --->Paul

But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
