I think you will find the answer to part of your question by going to the ARCHIVES section of the ORPHANT & ODDBALL BOARD. The satoth's are good tractors when working but a real expensive peace of junk to repair when the go belly up. Unless you can find a replacement eng cheap I would let the $600 bargin tractor go to someone else. I think AM post pretty well stated the reason to let the Satoh alone.
