I like the old Wheatland tractors (Case 900, MM Gvi, JD 820/830, etc.) and lots of them came with 18.4-34 rears with drop centers. I can't justify new tires, and the size is getting hard to find used. Also, the class I pull in requires cast centers, but 38" rubber would work better. I fell in to an easy way to change over- these wheels came on a 4755 Deere, and the inside diameter of the bolt flange fits exactly on the centers for 34" wheels. Just had to weld on some 2.5x2.5 1/4 wall tubing for spacers, and bolt them on. Also had to weld on a drive lug. The top pictures show 16x38 rims with 18.4-38 tires mounted on a 900 Case. I bought the wheels for next to nothing, and with a few hours cutting and welding, they were on. I even used tubeless tires. The bottom pictures are 18x38 rims I picked up today for the same purpose. I think you could even get by without welding the spacers, but it made me feel better to do it. The rims are real common- came on a lot of JD's, and maybe some other brands, also. Just seemed like a good way to do it.

My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
