I think maybe the culture in which you were raised keeps you from understanding how we feel about old tractors, and why we spend money on things without regard to profit/loss. You seem to think that if we don't agree with your "love of money" line, that we must not be telling the truth. Have you not met people who always tell the truth, no matter what the subject or consequences? There was a man who lived in your part of the world several years ago, who taught this concept as part of his instructions on how to live. His teachings covered much more than this, encompassing all that life concerns. His teachings have reached even to the little community where I live and I find true peace, happiness, and contentment in them. His name is Jesus. Sound familiar? I'm not a bible-thumper, not a preacher or anything like that, but this discussion made me wonder why you couldn't comprehend our views on tractor collecting/restoring. I'm not saying that my view is the same as everyone else's here. This is strictly my take on this subject. Have a good day.
