Hi Erol, In the end it's the market that determines value. And that is only the case if one wishes to sell the item in question. Whether being unique adds or detracts from the value depends on whether someone is present who desires the object. It appears that this is an ever-changing formula, depending on all sorts of factors. It doesn't appear that my 861 is going to be auctioned by Sotheby's or Christie's anytime soon, so it better fullfill some practical purpose as well.
