May I make a suggestion for all of you to try that have slowness problems with this site. Try using Firefox browser and use it with Java/Java Script turned off. I find most sites load a lot faster with J/JS turned off. I only turn it on when needed.
Think it doesn't make a difference? Try the site link with it on and with it off. It is a newspaper site.
That is exactly what I am doing. Makes no difference. I have experimented with using Firefox or Internet Explorer, Java script on or off, I get the same results. Sometimes it loads lightning fast, sometimes I just give up and go to a totally different website.
It is the site/traffic. I have a very fast cable connection (usually 15 to 17 meg) and at times YT is just slow, while at same time other sites are lightening fast, and at other times YT is fast, too. Same here with different computers & Firefox, IE7 or IE8 or Win7 IE.
