While it is unseasonally warm here on the West Coast, it is not really that suprising. We ussally have crocuses, daffodils and cherry trees blooming by mid February.
There is only one mountain which is getting snow trucked in. It is only for the boarder cross and snow board slalom events.
Vancouver itself is at sea level. We do get snow here, last year quite a bit, but it usually doesnt last. Whistler is fine. They have lots of snow.
The North Shore Mountains (the three ski hills up the north side of Vancouver) almost always will get a big dump of snow in the end of February and March. this snow will often last until May.
