I've been divorced for many years now so I don't have as much opportunity to play various games as I once did. Cheap entertainment for poor folk and I used to play a lot.
Cards: Rook, Old Maid, Authors, Pitch both 10 point and 13 point and Cutthroat if that isn't the same as 13 and progressive, canasta, pinochle, rummy, gin rummy, hearts, war, slap jack, Uno, Phase 10, and Rummy Royale which also goes by other names.
Monopoly, Risk, Scrabble, Go to the Head of the Class, Wise Old Owl (really, really old), Sorry, Candy Land, Memory, Trivia Pursuit, Checkers regular and double jump, and I expect many other forgotten ones.
There were also several dice games such as Bunko and Yahtzee.
Expect many of us here have had a lot of Candy Land time with the young grand kids.
Sounds about like all I/we ever did but I can assure you that wasn't the case. Used to only get one TV channel and kids programming was nil during evenings hence games with brothers.
